We started Homestead AI with a single provocation: AI as a forcing function. The fear is that it replaces us. The reality is that it hands back a rare resource, time, and with it, the headroom to think and the environment to build.
Today, the lane markings dissolve, and every person contributes in ways their job title didn't allow before. A n00b may write code, edit a short original movie, imagine a cloud architecture. The line that said “that’s not your job” disappears.
It felt strange mapping ecou’s full cloud architecture in 30 minutes instead of days. Uncomfortable not because it was wrong, but because it was so fast. That discomfort is what freedom feels like.
